Low overhead - it’s kind of our thing. Now, that isn’t to say that we don’t understand the value of a comfortable and inspiring workspace - far from it! In fact, we’ll take on all comers in an office-off featuring any of our three home-office locations on the only coasts that matter - Lake Mendota, the Blue River, and the enchanting South Pacific.

Madison

Jeff and Michael met in Madison at some point in mid to late 90s at Flying Fish where Michael worked and Jeff spent countless hours watching videos and coming in to make layaway payments on his pile of the current season’s snowboard gear. Years later, a reference was made, probably via someone at Flying Fish, and the two of them connected to collaborate on a project, which led to a lot of long discussion about design, technology, work, and how to avoid work. A few months, a long list of names, and a domain purchase later, the bromance now known as Ocupop began.

While Michael tames the oceans and heads to the mountains for a winter getaway, Jeff and his sidekick Gehry continue to hold things down in Madison, braving all four seasons, sometimes in the same week.
